Liquefaction and impurity separation of oxygen-bearing coal-bed methane

摘要: Coal-bed methane (CBM) is a type of clean energy. However, most oxygen-bearing CBM have not yet to be utilized due to limited techniques, and when utilized, the discharged gas leads to resource wastage and environment pollution. In this paper, a liquefaction process is proposed and designed for the specified oxygen-bearing CBM obtained from the Daqing Qingshen gas field. The distillation column is employed to separate the oxygen and nitrogen components present in the CBM. HYSYS software is adopted to simulate the process, and the results reveal that the energy consumption of the whole liquefaction process is low. Moreover, oxygen and nitrogen are nearly removed completely, achieving a high-purity liquefied natural gas product with a high methane recovery rate. The applicability and safety of the liquefaction process are also analyzed. The simulation results can offer references for the separation of the oxygen component from CBM.

山西沁水煤层气压裂施工的横向效应

摘要:

介绍了在山西沁水盆地煤层气压裂时监测到的压裂施工的横向效应,监测使用微地震方法。发现沿人工裂缝法向方向的邻井在施工时出现气量减少、枯竭、出水等反应,沿人工裂缝走向方向的邻井反应滞后。这一发现使笔者注意到煤层气压裂施工的横向挤压作用可能即时影响邻井产量,压裂设计时应该注意到这一反应的不良影响。

针对煤层气特点以及开发过程中压裂工艺技术存在的问题,研究了一项以套管注入、高排量、活性水携砂为主的煤层气清水压裂配套工艺技术。该技术在山西沁水盆地SH煤田现场应用实践了6口井,并获得成功,压后正处于排水阶段,出气效果明显。

Practice of Unconventional Gas Development and Engineering Management Innovation in China

摘要: This article analyses the recent progressive increase in resourcequantity and production quantity of unconventional natural gas in China, describes its natural properties and the concepts, strategies and approaches of its development, summarizes the special techniques, management concepts and development modes formed in the process of its development, and puts forward proposals to accelerate the development of unconventional natural gas of China. The technically recoverable reserve of unconventional natural gas is 1.7 times that of conventional natural gas and its output in 2012 accounted for 41.8% of the total output in China. Chinese tight gas development has gained success, coal-bed methane development and shale gas production pilots have made important progresses. As the key feature of unconventional natural gas is "low grade", for the effective scale development, developers must build up the engineering concept of low-grade resources development, adhere to the low cost strategy, take the development route of "a step backward and then a step forward", apply such ideas and methods of engineering management as low cost dualistic integrative innovation, full control network management, economic limit theory, integrated operation and "four orientations" engineering management, establish a "two lows" engineering management system, and take reference of the successful development mode of the tight gas in Sulige and the coal-bed methane in the Qinshui basin. In order to achieve the objective of rapid development of nonconventional natural gas in China and to accelerate the development pace, the government should continue to increase support, to speed up the reform of natural gas price adjustment, to set up national comprehensive development and utilization demonstration areas, to input in sustainable technological research and to promote engineering management innovation.?

摘要: This paper presents a summary review on mass transport of coal seam gas (CSG) in coal associated with the coalbed methane (CBM) and CO geo-sequestration enhanced CBM (CO -ECBM) recovery and current research advances in order to provide general knowledge and fundamental understanding of the CBM/ECBM processes for improved CBM recovery. It will discuss the major aspects of theory and technology for evaluation and development of CBM resources, including the gas storage and flow mechanism in CBM reservoirs in terms of their differences with conventional natural gas reservoirs, and their impact on CBM production behavior. The paper summarizes the evaluation procedure and methodologies used for CBM exploration and exploitation with some recommendations.

低透气性煤层群无煤柱煤气共采理论与实践

在淮南矿区复杂地质条件低透气性煤层群卸压开采抽采瓦斯多年创新和实践的基础上,提出了首采卸压层无煤柱沿空留巷Y型通风煤气共采新思路;通过对采空区边缘岩体结构变形破坏和裂隙演化规律的分析,揭示了采动影响区内顶底板岩层裂隙的动态演化规律、Y型通风方式下采空区的空气压力场分布及卸压瓦斯的流动规律,通过分析沿空留巷围岩大小结构的变化规律,提出了基于锚杆支护的“三位一体”留巷围岩控制技术;研发成功新型CHCT充填材料、强支撑自移模板液压充填支架、干混料集装箱以及充填泵上料系统,建立机械化快速构筑充填墙体工艺系统,发展和创新了低透气性煤层群无煤柱煤气共采的理论及关键技术。

Progress in developing an innovative lean burn catalytic turbine technology for fugitive methane mitigation

摘要: Approximately 2.8 × 10 m of methane is emitted per year to the atmosphere from coal mining activities around the world. Mitigation and utilization of the fugitive coal mine methane is very difficult because its concentration is very low and varies from 0.1% to1%, and the methane is contained in a large air flow rate of 150–400 m /s. This paper overviews existing and developing technologies for the mitigation and utilization of the fugitive mine methane, and then presents research progress in developing an innovative lean burn catalytic turbine technology for fugitive methane mitigation and utilization. This turbine system can be powered with about 1% methane in air.

Modeling of single coal particle combustion in O

摘要: A one-dimensional transient single coal particle combustion model was proposed to investigate the characteristics of single coal particle combustion in both O /N and O /CO atmospheres under the fluidized bed combustion condition. The model accounted for the fuel devolatilization, moisture evaporation, heterogeneous reaction as well as homogeneous reactions integrated with the heat and mass transfer from the fluidized bed environment to the coal particle. This model was validated by comparing the model prediction with the experimental results in the literature, and a satisfactory agreement between modeling and experiments proved the reliability of the model. The modeling results demonstrated that the carbon conversion rate of a single coal particle (diameter 6 to 8 mm) under fluidized bed conditions (bed temperature 1088 K) in an O /CO (30:70) atmosphere was promoted by the gasification reaction, which was considerably greater than that in the O /N (30:70) atmosphere. In addition, the surface and center temperatures of the particle evolved similarly, no matter it is under the O /N condition or the O /CO condition. A further analysis indicated that similar trends of the temperature evolution under different atmospheres were caused by the fact that the strong heat transfer under the fluidized bed condition overwhelmingly dominated the temperature evolution rather than the heat release of the chemical reaction.

Design and application of a novel coal-fired drum boiler using saline water in heavy oil recovery

摘要: In this paper, the design and operation of a novel coal-fired circulating fluidized bed (CFB) drum boiler that can generate superheated steam using saline water were introduced. The natural circulation water dynamics with a drum was adopted instead of the traditional once-through steam generator (OTSG) design, so that superheated steam can be generated for the better performance of the steam assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) technology in heavy oil recovery. The optimized staged evaporation method was proposed to further decrease the salinity of water in the clean water section of the boiler. The evaporating pipes of the salted water section were rearranged in the back pass of the boiler, where the heat load is low, to further improve the heat transfer safety. A CFB combustion technology was used for coal firing to achieve a uniform heat transfer condition with low heat flux. Pollutant control technologies were adopted to reduce pollutant emissions. Based on the field test, the recommended water standard for the coal-fired CFB drum boilers was determined. With the present technology, the treated recovery wastewater can be reused in steam-injection boilers to generate superheated steam. The engineering applications show that the boiler efficiency is higher than 90%, the blowdown rate is limited within 5.5%, and the superheat of steam can reach up to 30 K. Besides, the heavy oil recovery efficiency is significantly improved. Moreover, the pollutant emissions of SO , NO and dust are controlled within the ranges of 20–90 mg/(N·m ), 30–90 mg/(N·m ) and 2–10 mg/(N·m ) respectively.

Dissolved methane in anaerobic effluent: Emission or recovery?

摘要: Various anaerobic processes have been explored for the energy-efficient treatment of municipal wastewater. However, dissolved methane in anaerobic effluent appears to be a barrier towards the energy and carbon neutrality of wastewater treatment. Although several dissolved methane recovery methods have been developed, their engineering feasibility and economic viability have not yet been assessed in a holistic manner. In this perspective, we thus intend to offer additional insights into the cost-benefit of dissolved methane recovery against its emission.

山西沁水盆地柿庄北区块3#煤层注入埋藏CO2提高煤层气采收率试验和评价

摘要:

对沁水盆地南部柿庄北区块进行了深煤层注入地质和工程评价,认为柿庄北区块适合进行深煤层注入CO2开采煤层气技术的应用;通过SX-001井的微型先导性试验,对SX-001井的注入前后产气量与产水量、气体成分变化和井底压力变化规律进行了总结。通过现场试验,注入CO2后SX-001井的产气量是注入前的2.45倍;在小于煤岩破裂压力的条件下,每天注入20 t的CO2能够实现顺利注入,并且压力上升速度较慢;注入CO2后,煤岩发生膨胀,局部煤层的渗透率降低,排采一段时间后恢复;在目的煤层中注入的CO2的影响范围内,烃类气体总的置换效率达到14.18 cm3/g。该试验成果证明柿庄北区块通过注入CO2开采煤层气实现了CO2的埋藏,提高了煤层气井的采收率。

循环流化床燃烧低污染排放技术研究展望

在污染物排放标准日趋严格、 2060 年前实现碳中和的背景下,深度挖掘循环流化床(CFB)燃烧技术的低污染排放潜力,进一步提高 CFB 锅炉的市场竞争力,对于煤炭清洁高效利用、能源转型升级具有重要意义。本文在阐述 CFB 燃烧污染物排放特性的基础上,分析了主流 CFB 锅炉低污染排放技术及应用,结合我国能源发展战略和相关政策,提出了 CFB 燃烧在污染物排放控制技术方面的发展建议。研究认为,需大力开发炉内原始低排放 CFB 燃烧技术,在保证锅炉效率的前提下,通过流态重构、燃烧组织来突破 CFB 锅炉污染物排放极限。着眼于煤炭能源长远发展,支持与超临界 / 超超临界,智能运行,碳捕集、利用与封存,储能等技术高度结合的新一代超低排放 CFB 燃烧技术研发;加快对现存中小容量 CFB 锅炉的优化升级;发挥 CFB 燃烧燃料适应性广的优势,推广生物质燃烧发电,促进对低热值燃料、城市垃圾、各工业废弃物的低成本高效清洁消纳;挖掘 CFB 锅炉的深度调峰能力并保持低污染排放性能,提高运行灵活性及对新能源的消纳能力;加强 CFB 燃烧脱硫灰渣的综合利用,关注 N2O 排放问题。还需从全局角度合理制定污染物排放标准和相关政策,引导包括 CFB 燃烧在内的能源行业健康发展。

摘要:

在防治污染的迫切要求下,中国必须加快发展煤炭清洁燃烧技术,但当前针对中国煤炭清洁燃烧技术路线图的研究还相对缺乏。本文对我国煤炭利用的结构特点、发展煤炭清洁燃烧技术的重要意义进行了概述,并重点围绕六类煤炭清洁燃烧技术发展的战略思路和目标、国内外技术现状、未来技术方向、重点领域和关键技术等问题进行了初步探讨。在此基础上,描绘了2050年前中国的煤炭清洁燃烧技术路线图,并给出了相关战略建议。结果表明,近期必须加快在中小型燃煤工业锅炉中应用一批新型循环流化床技术,在民用散烧煤领域推广一批优质型煤和先进炉具,切实减少分散式燃煤污染。从长远来看,政府应加强规划引领,切实提高煤炭用于清洁高效集中发电的比重,并持续研发一批面向未来的绿色煤电技术和系统。
